Fundraising

Fundraising has been a core part of my shop since it opened, as I've always wanted to give back to the communities that have given so much to me and helped shape who I am today.

My fundraising policy has evolved since the start of my shop in 2018. Beginning in May 2025, 100% of profits are donated on a bimonthly (every other month) basis to an organization that’s working to make the world a safe, inclusive, and joyful place for all. I personally fund the release of new items to maximize how much can be donated. I see making and selling merch as a hobby that also raises funds for charity. I do not view it as a business that needs to have a return on investment.

Current organization: The National Bail Out

"The National Bail Out is a Black-led and Black-centered collective of abolitionist organizers, lawyers, and activists building a community-based movement to support our folks in abolishing pretrial detention systems and dismantling the prison industrial complex". You can learn more about the National Bail Out on their website.

Fundraising Reports

Fundraising reports breakdown Drifting Daydreamer's profits and donations. They are released within one month of a donation being made (ex: May-June fundraising report posted by the end of July) for transparency and accountability. I share the reports on my blog and will link them here in reverse-chronological order as they are posted.
